{Planting}

The garden season has begun at our home. Last weekend we took some time (with the help of family) to build a few more garden beds, transplant our runner beans and introduce our toddler to the art of planting peas. As you can see, he enjoyed plunging the peas into the earth.

Fingers crossed that this will be a bountiful year. Are you planning to plant a garden this year? What plants are you considering?

  1. OH I am so jealous! I look at that soil and I just dream of the day I can get going on my garden. Isn't it fun teaching your little one about gardening? My little Finley already has such a green thumb.

    I wanted to let you know that I have restarted (and renamed, was originally thesimpleproject) my blog:

    www.peaceloveandhomesteading.blogspot.com

    I'm going to have a lot of stuff about gardening on there... raised beds, organic growing, all things I know you are into too.

    Take Care!

  3. I so wish we could have a garden! But alas, we live in a condo that doesn't even have a balcony. :-(

    Our goal is to move into a house by the end of the year (we'll see how that goes, as it's already March), and one of the first things I'm doing is getting some seeds in the ground. We had veggies in our garden growing up and I just loved it.

  6. Such sweetness. I remember my mom and I planted the over-night blooming kind. Who knows what they're called, but they bloom only when the moon is out so you have to get up when it's still dark to catch the magic ;)
