For the Love of Books

Over the weekend our used book store, which is attached to our local library, was having a huge sale on Romance, Non-Fiction and  Childrens' books...so of course we had to go check it out!

And of course, we bought books. Not the wisest action, since all I have been doing the past week is packing box after box of books, but I truly couldn't help it. I think I might have a problem. Ahem.

So what did we buy?

-A Stack of 10 Golden Books For E
-The Professor's House by Will Cather (For Me!)
-Little House in the Big Woods (m, for E?...even though I am reading it now!)
-Little House On the Prairie  (Also for E...when he's older...I will be reading it...oh, yes.)

So, what books have you been diving into recently?

Also, check out Desirous of Everything Blog, she's a childrens' librarian with a spunk for life  and a whole lot of fun stuff to offer!

  1. Love it! I love love love used book sales and can never help myself either. Even better, our library has a discards rack right outside the door where I've found some great titles for free. Right now I'm into the "Bread" series by Judith Ryan Hendricks, though I accidentally read the second one before the first. Oops!

  4. Fun! I just finished re-reading "The Thirteenth Tale" and now I want to read a bunch of old novels like "Lady in White" and "Lady Audley's Secret" because the main character is always reading them.
