Breathing Easy

.........................................................................

After two weeks of just taking it easy. I think it is safe to say my wee one is bouncing back and breathing easy again! The last two days he's been able to run, play, squirm, wriggle, and wiggle to his heart's content. Such a relief.

Thank you all for your kind and thoughtful and warm  words this week. It has truly kept me going and helped me stay positive!

As a token of my thanks, enjoy these delicious oatmeal cookies!

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup softend butter
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup molasses
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups old fashioned oats
3/4 cup raisens (or dried cranberries!)

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon. Combine oil, honey, molasses, and beaten eggs in another large bowl. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add oats and mix again. Gently stir in raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 10-20 minutes. Makes 4 dozen
